CONNECTED
VEHICLES: THE NEXT BUSINESS ECOSYSTEM OF THE AUTOMOBILE COMPANY
A connected vehicle or a connected car is a vehicle (primarily a car ) that is equipped with internet access and generally also a wireless local
area network (LAN) or satellite. This allows the car to share internet access
with other devices, both inside and outside the vehicle. Often the car is also
equipped with special technologies that take advantage of the internet access
or the wireless LAN and provide additional benefits to the driver. Examples:
automatic accident notification, online maps, speeding notification, problems
in a circuit or part of your car, the best route with short-term prediction capability.
There
are more and more connected cars (electric cars, especially) that are taking
advantage of the increase in smartphones and applications available to interact
with the car from any distance. Users can unlock their cars, check the status
of electric car batteries, search for charging points and how far they are by
giving you the most optimal route, find the location of the vehicle or remotely
activate the air conditioning system before entering the car).
LOAD
WITHOUT PROBLEMS
The
Renault Twizy differentiator is that it does not need a cargo center as such,
it can be charged with any contact that has 110 to 220 volts, said Alan Garcia
Aceves, the agency's floor manager.
The
110 volt connection charges in six hours, the voltage of 220 shuts down in four
hours both for a performance of 100 kilometers. This vehicle is the only
electric car in Mexico noted Aceves.
The
car has a 2% recovery, each stopping the brake. The brand asks you to have a
220-volt three-phase outlet to offer the service.
The
launch of the car was in 2014, has had sales in Guadalajara, Mexico and
Monterrey. At the group level four units have been sold in Aguascalientes and
Acapulco. "The use of the car is for city, has not had the takeoff thought
in the state," he concluded.
